~ Looking Back on 2007 ~

I, Nancy, work full time as a SEO Marketing Analyst and Copywriter, so I need to focus any extra time I can create on painting - thus the close out of pare of the jewelry section of my site. I went to Guatemala in November with Bob and Kate Burridge and Expore Guatemala Tours. It was really an exciting - and a bit nerve wracking - experience to learn to plein air paint with, at times, a large crowd around us. Bruce and I also I took a lot of photos and Bruce took many videos, as well. I will be creating a section displaying our Guatemala tour, photos and paintings fairly soon. I highly recommend taking this or any of the Explore Guatemala tours. John and Anita left nothing out - we were treated royally, visited Lake Atitlan and Antiqua as our main focus. Everyone was kind, helpful and we made so many new friends. I found the people we met in Guatelala friendly, hard working and ready to converse. So, I must learn Spanish! I haven't had time to get my Ribbon Art CD finished with my new job as a web content writer taking up a lot of my time, but I will get it done. You collage artists will just love it! A new year, a clean slate. Time to rethink this site and how I can makes it even better. Time to get my other site: nancybolton.com together and it is most certainly time my CD out for collage artists. There is 50 pages of wonderful 1930 images! I resolve to have it ready by the middle of summer.

Time to celebrate life, family, friends, good health and prosperity. It is always a good time for that!

Our Eagle Point Women's Club is having a "merchants market" at their luncheon at the Rogue Valley Country club. Women only, come and see what we have to offer. Each women with her own business OR representing a business, will have a table to set up with info to share and maybe things to sell - including me - Intent Design Studio! Locals, we'll see you there. (BTW, we had lots of success on Feb. 11th. Trunk sales are really fun! (See the photo of Teri and myself at her Cafe showing off the jewelry - below!) Bruce and I may be at the Daffodile Festival in Shady Cove, Sat. March 18th. We'll let you know. Check out his book! He is available for talks too!s

Bruce presented a completely new presentation on crop circle geometry at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library in Ashland, Oregon. This presentation will feature some outstanding crop circle imagery and insights from John Martineau.

August 25, 2005, 7PM - Bruce presented a free multimedia talk similar to the talk he gave in Ashland last February about his art and its geometric foundations at the Eagle Point (Oregon) library.

August 13 & 14 2005 - Evening - Aug 14th. We'd like to report we had a wonderful time, met a lovely bunch of people and had successful sales! We plan to do this event next year! What a lovey site too right at the banks of the upper Rogue river with grass and trees and a wonderful foot path going by... Fun for all! Don't miss this next year!

May through October 2005 - Eight giclée images from the Martineau Solar System series are now on display in Europe in canvas as part of an exhibit created by Jay Goldner at Erich vonDäniken's Mystery Park in Interlaken, Switzerland as part of Goldner's 1000 square meter exhibition about agro-glyphs (a.k.a. crop circles) from May to October. They may be heading to Berlin after that...
