Fall 2008:

I am making major changes on this site. Bruce is doing some great work with CSS and his web designing efforts for clients, so I am going to have him help me out. Do you think I can find a little room on his schedule!? Don't forget to visit him at his geometry code site. Most of my time, this last year plus, has been spent at my day job doing SEO work (e-commerce and content writing) for Ergo In Demand.com and haven't had the time . I have also spent the past five months helping my mom recouperate from a serious illness. This left me no time for my art, or my art site. But to keep spirits up, I created two light hearted blogs. They are fun to create and fairly simple. See how to create a blog at WordPress.com. My cat, Katmandu, has his "Katmandu - Cat, Contemplating a Cats Life in the Meow NOW" blog at: katmanducat.wordpress.com and I have started a recipe blog called "Happy Tummy, Recipes from Sis's Kitchen" at: ahappytummywithsis.wordpress.com. This was in response to my sister, Kelli's UK recipe site . Now, that I have gotten these started and am getting better at the blogging, I should be getting the art blog together next. I will let you all know here on my art, art events and art supplies site. I plan to have my "how to's" finally added there. I also plan to have more art supplies up soon.

I have been promising the Vintage Ribbon Art CD and because it isn't ready quite yet I have decided to give you a taste of the great images it will contain. I will be adding a few more in the following weeks - which, I hope, will get you excited about the full CD.

I am busy with the IDS site redesign and I will have many art supplies and tips in the near future, so be ready for some cool changes. In the mean time DO ckeck out CCP Video for Artists Instruction. You don't need his permission to paint, but I have never had a better time than with his "permission!" Teri and Nancy - Sweet Cafe Eagle Point, Oregon Teri is the cafe owner and a great friend! (Note my paintings hanging in the background! ) Locals, the Sweet Cafe is now Eagle Point Coffee Roaster and located at the Eagle Point Mill.

Ongoing Art Events:
Note: June 2008 - The Sweet Cafe is temporarily closed. The building it was in dated back to pre 1910 and had to be condemned do to the bricks having not been fired correctly way back when. Just at the time Teri was going to remodel! In September of 08 a new beautilful Victorial stye building will take it's place and Teri will once again be open. I hope to have a new art exhitib there soon. The cafe will then take on the new name of the Eagle Point Roasting Company.

My art exhibit was ongoing for two years (20006-2008) at the Sweet Café at 178 W. Main Street in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon.
