One of my very favorite artists, Bob Burridge, uses the Soltek portable easel and recommended it prior to our trip to Guatemala. I was very impressed as I watched him use it during our art workshop last November 2007. If you want the best and it is in your budget the Soltek Portable Easel is a great asset to the ease of setting up and painting while traveling. It is very lightweight and compact. This will be my next plein air purchase.

Soltek Portable Easel
A working artist engineered this easel to meet the special needs encountered in the field. It’s adjustable, very sturdy, and very stable. Setup time is less than 20 seconds.
