~ Looking Back on 2007 ~
I, Nancy, work full time as a SEO Marketing Analyst and Copywriter, so I need to focus any extra time I can create on painting - thus the close out of pare of the jewelry section of my site. I went to Guatemala in November with Bob and Kate Burridge and Expore Guatemala Tours. It was really an exciting - and a bit nerve wracking - experience to learn to plein air paint with, at times, a large crowd around us. Bruce and I also I took a lot of photos and Bruce took many videos, as well. I will be creating a section displaying our Guatemala tour, photos and paintings fairly soon. I highly recommend taking this or any of the Explore Guatemala tours. John and Anita left nothing out - we were treated royally, visited Lake Atitlan and Antiqua as our main focus. Everyone was kind, helpful and we made so many new friends. I found the people we met in Guatelala friendly, hard working and ready to converse. So, I must learn Spanish! Check out the Burridge site and the Explore Guatemala sites for more exciting tours and art workshops.
June: August on the 11-12th - 3rd Annual Shady Cove River Art Walk on the Rogue River.
(It was very successful and we had a great time. Photos to be posted in the near future. Hope to see you there next year.)
Don't miss the art walk, and find us there once again, Bruce with his sacred geometry book and stunning digital art and myself with my art and jewelry. This is an annual event you won't want to miss. Meet the So. Oregon artists who will have booth are at the Edgewater Inn conference room and Rogue River RV Park right on the scenic Rogue River. Over 75 fine artists, original crafters, food and music. The River is beautiful. After the art walk, raft down the river to cool down. Join us and cool down at the Rogue River.
I can see that I am ready to make the leap to a blog.

I haven't had time to get my Ribbon Art CD finished with my new job as a web content writer taking up a lot of my time, but I will get it done. You collage artists will just love it!
