Winter 2009 ~ Goal to get back into painting and focus on a more abstract expression of my world...

Nov. 16th: I have just returned from a week-end workshop with Mira M. White in Berkeley CA. Stay tuned for postings. It was GREAT! My focus was to learn more techniques - which I did.

Nov 1st : Spent a week at Mendocino Art center at a Robert Burridge Workshop called Larger and Looser. I had a blast! More to follow!

I am making major changes on this site and I have started my Fine Art and Photography portfolio blog. Check it out. I also have a few fun blogs listed on the links. Soon, I will be a WordPress Wizardess. See how to create your blog at WordPress.com. My cat, Katmandu, has his "Katmandu - Cat, Contemplating a Cats Life in the Meow NOW" blog at: katmanducat.wordpress.com and I have started a recipe blog called "Happy Tummy, Recipes from Sis's Kitchen" at: ahappytummywithsis.wordpress.com. This was in response to my sister, Kelli's UK recipe site .

I have been promising the Vintage Ribbon Art CD and because it isn't ready quite yet I have decided to give you a taste of the great images it will contain. I will be adding a few more in the following weeks - which, I hope, will get you excited about the full CD. I also have another beautiful free image on my portfolio blog.

You don't need his permission to paint, but I have never had a better time than with his "permission!" Lots of great tips, reminders and inspiration in the newsletter, videos OR even better ... a workshop! Thanks to Bob and his wife, Kate!
